Examples of Betting:

Moneyline - Pick the winner. You will be risking more to win less on Favorite. You will be risking less to win more on Underdog. For example, if you think the Raptors will beat the Wizards, then you can risk 100 to win 130. If you think the Wizards will beat the Raptors, then you will risk 130 to win 100.
Pointspread - Same game, if you think the Wizards will win and win by 3 or more, then choose them at even money. If you think the Raptors may lose or win, but keep it less than 3 points, then choose them at even money.

Also, games look at posted times. Any betting after posted time of game, regardless of actual tipoff, will be void.
