With a victory over the Astros last night, Buchholtz becomes the first 5 game winner in the majors for 2013 season. Red Sox win 7-2. Buchholtz pitched 6.2 strong innings giving up 2 runs on 6 hits while striking out 10. David Ortiz provided a big HR, his 1st of the year and drove in 2 runs.
Next game is against the Astros again, with Dempster (0-2) going against Bedard (0-1) @ 7:10pm.

J.D. Drew provides a 2 run triple, and Jon Lackey earns his first win of the season as the Red Sox beat and sweep the Houston Astros 6-1. Red Sox also improve their record to 18-7 for the year. David Ortiz also drove in two runs and maintained his avg of .516 to begin his 2013 season.
